About Joanne Marks
With an innate interest in natural medicine and wellbeing, Joanne enjoyed a successful fifteen year career as Naturopath in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. During the covid pause, like many, she decided to pivot and begin pursuing her personal passion in interior design. After graduating, Joanne began working with the retail landscape for industry heavyweights Sheridan and Adairs, where she grounded her knowledge of visual merchandising and property styling.
Today, she runs a successful Interior Design practice from her studio in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, servicing clients throughout Sydney and interstate. Her tenure in private practice means she has honed her skills of active listening, detailed note taking whilst sensitively responding to her clients needs. With an inherent understanding of synergy, Joanne understands that it is our ability to communicate with each other openly and honestly, seeing differences as strengths is what ultimately binds design ideas and decisions together.
