The beautiful restoration of this heritage home in Sydney Eastern Suburbs, seamlessly marries the charm of its Art Deco roots with a light filled contemporary extension. Set within an enviable north easterly aspect, amongst a mature leafy garden, this 374sqm home is undergoing an extensive renovation to not only restore its original beauty but also extend its footprint to suit the modern needs of a growing family.

Our design process begins with a commitment to preserving the character of the home’s original elements. Focused on re-designing the rear extension, we relocated chosen to position the kitchen, dining and living areas to meet our clients needs of seamlessless transitioning spaces. We are upgrading the 33sqm deck to create that seamless indoor outdoor feel all year round.

Our role was to reimagine the interio to reflect contemporary European-inspired textures of warm hospitality and gathering. Subtle textured paint finishes and careful mix of natural stones are being incorporated enhance the architectural details. The final outcome is an artful balance between the old and new.
